Shafer Electrical Contracting has been working in homes across the DFW metroplex since 1996. Not commercial buildings. Not big box new construction. Homes. It's all we do and it's all we've ever done.

Whether you're remodeling a kitchen, adding on to your house, rebuilding an outdated electrical service, or just need something fixed right — you'll talk directly with Jason, the owner and a licensed Master Electrician. No call centers, no salespeople, no pressure to buy something you don't need.

We show up on time, we keep your home clean, and we talk to you like a neighbor — because that's what we are. Your home is your safe space, and we respect that. We welcome all homeowners regardless of background, and we believe you should feel completely comfortable with who's working in your house.

If you've got a project on your mind, let's talk about it.

Jason and and his team added lights to our newly installed pergola. The lights and workmanship were outstanding. Going forward Shafer and team will be our home new electrical team.

Our Goal

To provide you with honest answers, safe solutions, and quality work that lasts. Every project gets the same attention — whether it's a single outlet or a full remodel. We'll walk you through your options, explain what you actually need, and never push what you don't.

About Me

My name is Jason Shafer. I picked up the electrical trade at 17 and never put it down. After three decades in the trade, I'm still the one showing up to your house, still the one doing the work, and still the one you'll call if anything ever needs attention down the road.

I built Shafer Electrical Contracting on handshakes and word of mouth — and that's still how most of our work comes in. When your neighbor tells you to call Jason, that's not marketing. That's trust earned one job at a time over 30 years.

I'm a licensed Master Electrician in the State of Texas, and I treat every home I walk into like it's my own. If it's not right, I'm not leaving.
